Form of Government: Charter City

There is a lot of positives to living in this area. All of the houses have their own story to them an every piece of land has history behind it. little to people know that the first dam in Folsom is located right behind the housing development and its not really recognized. Also the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic
Park is a minute walk from all the houses. The Folsom Powerhouse is one of
the oldest hydroelectric facilities in the world. Facilities include lake access (via a
trail), picnic facilities, a museum, a gift shop, and small parking areas. Plus the redevelopment agency
allocated $10 million for revitalization of Sutter Street, $14 million for a
multi-story parking structure in the Historical Railroad Block, and $10 million
for a public plaza in the Historical Railroad Block. The negatives to this area would be that since the houses have some age to them they might need some work.
